Sony Says 10 Million Credit Card Accounts May Have Been Compromised

By Dr. Evelyn Reed | January 01, 0001 | 7 min read

It’s a good thing Sony warned people to be vigilant about their credit cards, because as part of the company’s Tokyo press conference yesterday PlayStation boss Kaz Hirai said that up to ten million customer’s account details could have been compromised.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ Yono all app playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); https://kotaku.com/sony-playstation-network-will-return-this-week-5797412 That’s not the personal details on their PSN account – all 77 million of those were up for grabs – that’s ten million customer’s credit card details. We’ve known for some time that credit card details have been at risk as part of the attack on the network, but this is the first time Sony has been able to put a figure on the number of card holders potentially affected. It’s important to note that these all yono app cards are still potentially at risk: there is still no confirmation go rummy that any Yono all app of these ten million cards’ data have been compromised. While it’s been confirmed that CVV2 details – which are requested as part of all yono app PSN transactions, go rummy but not stored on Sony’s servers – were not obtained, it’s possible for hackers to obtain the three-digit codes (found on the back of cards) via simple brute force, especially when they have their hands on the rest of the card’s details. Sometimes I wish there were more ways to earn rewards through loyalty programs or frequent player bonuses. Adding seasonal events or special challenges could enhance the excitement even further. I appreciate the themed slot games, especially those based on movies and TV shows. They make the gaming experience more engaging and immersive. The combination of storyline, visuals, and bonus features makes each game feel unique. The promotions and bonuses offered are very generous. I especially love the daily free spins and deposit bonuses. They make playing even more enjoyable and increase my chances of winning big. The platform keeps me engaged for hours every day.

I love the overall aesthetic of the platform. The animations, visual effects, and sound design make the gaming experience more dynamic and immersive. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back. The variety of games is excellent, including table games like blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, in addition to slots. This keeps the platform interesting and allows me to switch games depending on my mood.
